In this unique and currently the only project in the world, Maestro Woytek Mrozek & The 1st New York Orchestra will present the most beautiful compositions of legendary swing orchestras: Benny Goodman Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Arite Shaw, The Andrews Sisters. Maestro Mrozek’s enthusiasm and inextinguishable love for swing music capture the exciting, nostalgic and unique atmosphere of the music of the early last century and transform the stage into a cradle of music from the early ’30s and ’50s. “The King Of Swing” is a show not to be missed by jazz fans, swing fans and incurable musical romantics alike, who want to be transported back to 1938 for the legendary Benny Goodman Orchestra concert at Carnegie Hall in New York. Prestigious performances by artyts are the brilliant and precise sound of the orchestra and the unique timbre of the clarinet weaving all the parts into one. The energy, perfectionism and authenticity of the artists earned Woytek Mrozek’s programs the most valuable prize: admiration and a standing ovation.
Maestro Mrozek being a leading successor in the field of Icons of Swing Music invites and wishes to take his listeners on a unique journey to the “World of Swing Music” full of warmth, virtuosity and beautiful color of music, which is at the same time an international tour in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Holland, Denmark, England, Switzerland, USA, China and Japan. 6.04.2024 The King Of Swing will be hosted by the Berlin Philharmonic.
